We focus on the analysis of timberland investments, particularly natural hardwood forests as well as pine and hardwood plantations throughout the US, Central and South America.

Jeffrey Wikle, MAI                                                                        

During his 30-year tenure in the forest industry, Jeff has developed broad and diversified real estate appraisal and timberland consulting experience. With an understanding of complex land and natural resource issues, he has played a key role in managing appraisal departments for major financial institutions, the largest US consulting forestry firms and fee appraisal shops.  In addition to timberland management and timberland acquisitions and divestitures, he has appraised timberland, land subdivisions, manufactured housing communities, sawmills and industrial and commercial properties throughout the US.  He has an extensive practical understanding of spreadsheet software, discounted cash flow analysis, timber inventory, harvest scheduling and databases.

Jeff has worked extensively throughout the eastern US, particularly the Appalachian states, Lake States and Southeast, as well as Brazil, Central America and Australasia.  

Jeff holds the MAI designation from The Appraisal Institute, the acknowledged worldwide leader in real estate education, research, publishing and professional membership designation programs.  He is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in eight states.

Philip Bailey                                                                                   

Phil has been involved in all aspects of forestland analysis and valuation for the past ten years.  With a thorough understanding of forest modeling, management and valuation techniques, he has valued forestland properties throughout the U.S. South, Appalachia and Lake States while working for the largest consulting forestry firms in the US.  In developing past hardwood stumpage price indices, he has extensive knowledge about timber pricing in various regions of the country.

Phil is currently an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute and is working towards his MAI designation.  He is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in seven states.

Jason Lashbrook                                                                           

Jason has over a decade of experience in forest management, modeling and GIS working for TIMOs and forest consultants. He is currently working towards his state appraisal licensure.

Adam Watson                                                                           

Adam is the newest addition to Terrasource. Prior to earning his Masters degree in Forest Economics, Adam spent time as a Forester with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and as a Gunner in the US Army National Guard with tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is currently working towards his state appraisal licensure.
